Welcome to RidePro. By using our mobile application and services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RidePro, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
RidePro is a technology platform that connects passengers with independent transportation providers (drivers). We provide:
- Ride-hailing services
- Parcel delivery services
- Vehicle rental services
- Ambulance booking services
RidePro does not provide transportation services directly. Drivers are independent contractors, not employees of RidePro.
3. User Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to use our services
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must not share your account credentials with others
- One account per person; duplicate accounts may be terminated
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Harass, threaten, or abuse drivers or other users
- Damage or soil vehicles
- Transport illegal or hazardous materials
- Provide false information or impersonate others
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform
- Use the service while impaired by alcohol or drugs
5. Payments and Fees
- Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and demand
- You agree to pay all charges incurred through your account
- Payments are processed securely through Paystack
- Cancellation fees may apply for late cancellations
- All fares are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦)
6. Cancellations
- Free cancellation within 2 minutes of booking
- Cancellation after driver dispatch may incur a fee
- Repeated cancellations may result in account restrictions
7. Safety
- Always verify the driver and vehicle details before entering
- Share your trip details with trusted contacts
- Report any safety concerns immediately
- Follow all applicable seatbelt and safety laws
8. Limitation of Liability
RidePro provides the platform "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for actions of drivers or other users
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific trip
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold RidePro harmless from any claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
10. Intellectual Property
The RidePro name, logo, and app content are our intellectual property. You may not use, copy, or distribute our content without permission.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent or abusive behavior
- Non-payment of charges
- At our discretion with or without cause
12. Modifications
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
